All measurements are performed in real time. No sub‐sampling or substitution techniques.
Radar Cross Section (RCS) analysis allows the learner to understand varying detectability of objects based on material, absolute and relative size, reflection angle, distance and strength of the signal.
FSK (Frequency Shift Keying) operation mode for high resolution distance measurements of moving objects, when used in outside experiments.
Latest technologies: SMD multiprocessor technology, Microstrip based antennae.
Phased Array
The Remote-controlled Moving Target System consists of:
Real target detection. Remote controlled movable target for unlimited positioning and movement in the laboratory.
No limiting “target positioning table” or rail-based positioning system is required.
The mobile target consists of:
movable pallet 550mm X 550mm),
Tripod with Adapter
Radar – targets: Different targets representing various radar cross‐ sections (RCS) are supplied with the Radar Training System. A corner reflector is a retro‐reflector consisting of three mutually perpendicular, intersecting flat surfaces, which reflects electromagnetic waves back towards the source. The three intersecting surfaces often have square shapes. Modular aluminum corner reflector dimensions: Ø 30 cm. At X‐band the RCS of the 30 cm reflector is already almost 100 square meters.
